Ray Anderson, Mark Helias, Gerry Hemingway ‎– Oahspe (1978)

"Oahspe"  is the first full record of the collective trio, BassDrumBone. The word Oahspe (pronounced Oh-wahs-pay) means earth, sky and spirit. It served as the group's name for a short time.

Perry Robinson Quartet - Still Travelling (2003)

Like Thelonious Monk, Perry revisits and reinterprets his and others' compositions. Some of
the pieces on Still Traveling have been recorded before, but these are no mere rehashes of
old ideas. The varied tunes come from all stages of Perry's career, and each one tells a
compelling story.

Curtis Clark, Sonship Theus, Roberto Miranda ‎– Phantasmagoria (1984)

One of the best records ever recorded by pianist Curtis Clark – a stunning trio session that features Sonship Theus on drums and Roberto Miranda on bass. The feel here is as free as it is driving, modal, and soulful – a rich expression of Clark's ideals, in a style that draws on the McCoy Tyner tradition, yet which also sparkles with rhythmic intensity, thanks to great work on bass and drums. This 1995 album is simply beautiful ... Any Terrain Tumultuous is a must-have for fans of the clarinetist and an appreciable item for Crispell lovers.
